Indiana’s Monday night U.S. Senate debate reportedly (I was watching Downton Abbey Season 2 on DVD) featured Joe Donnelly (Democrat) enthusing over ethanol – stealing bread from the poor so our cars can eat it.

The Facebook buzz I saw over that mentioned the Keystone Pipeline favorably. Really? Seppuku, anyone?

Don’t ask me for a “solution,” but I’m pretty darned sure that any real solution will involve urban density, home gardens, busses, bicycles and shank’s mare. There would be a great deal to like about it and, no doubt, more than enough for a pessimist to dislike.

Hard on the heels of the fabulously successful “Poke a Finger In An IRS Agent’s Eye Sunday,” Tuesday was a sort of Coming Out Day for Prolife Teens, complete with an angry reggae theme song. (H/T Religion Clause blog)
